A Living
Ecosystem
Patagonia Lake is a biodiversity hotspot in southeastern Arizona — one of the most bird-rich areas in all of North America, nestled in the Sonoita Creek watershed.
What’s Swimming
in the Lake
Patagonia Lake’s 265 acres hold some of the most diverse fishing in Arizona. The lake is stocked with trout in winter months, and year-round you’ll find warm-water species in the shallows and deeper channels.
Plan Your Perfect Day
at the Lake
Patagonia Lake State Park sits 75 miles south of Tucson in the rolling hills of Santa Cruz County, just outside the town of Patagonia, Arizona.
